4 type of temperament and how they manifest in men

The character changes, temperament – an individual type of nervous system inherent in us from birth – no. About how four types of temperament: sanguine, choleric, melancholic and phlegmatic – appear in men, says psychologist Alexander Shakhov.

Temperament can be defined as "psychos". If the physique is the shape of the body that we got from the parents: the growth, the width of the pelvic bones (as well as the length of the nose, the color of the eyes and so on), then psychos – the same “inheritance”, only in the structure of the mental structure. Temperament is given by nature, and it can only be adjusted by the character.

The types of temperament were opened by Hippocrates, and then many were finalized the theory: from the ancient Roman doctor and the philosopher Galen to the Russian academician Pavlov. There are many approaches to the theory of temperament in psychology, but we will analyze the most practical, although somewhat simplified.

Types of temperament differ in two criteria: the speed of emotional reactions and the area of these reactions – outside or inside.

1.Sanguine

His reactions are fast and flow outside. Emotions change quickly and expressed brightly: laughter, tears, live facial expressions, gestures. Sanguine is characterized by a positive attitude. This is light, lively temperament: if such people are offended, then they easily forgive. Often sanguine – rather superficial, quickly establishes social contacts, but cannot experience deep feelings for a long time.

Sanguine-male-energetic, positive, light, romantic, usually not very practical, artistic, with a quick speech and a smile on the face. He can fall in love with easily and ardently, and then also get carried away as quickly. At the same time, the emotions of the abandoned woman will be completely incomprehensible to him: “Why cry? Around full of other men!"

It’s fun with such men, easy, they are fond of, mobile, creative, open, but not always able to keep loyalty. They need to learn stability and practicality, develop empathy – take into account the emotions of other people.

2.Choleric

His emotional reactions are slow, flow outside. Moreover, https://globalpharmacy24.com/drug/cenforce “slow” does not mean sluggish: just switching from emotion to emotion is much harder than that of sanguine. If the cholera is offended, then for a long time, if it is angry, then he brings himself to rabies.

The cholera is “sticking” into emotions, it is difficult for him to switch, because the emotions are strong, deep, pronounced, often negative. If the cholera loves, then with crazy jealousy, if he hates, then to the grinding of a toothy. It is difficult for him to trust others, but if he trusts, then without looking back.

The sanguine boils easily and cools, and the choleric slowly boils inside, explodes and then leaves for a long time

The biggest problem of choleraiks is the lack of control over emotions. Such people should learn to restrain themselves, be flexible, listen to others, do not succumb to emotional impulses.

Holeric men-active, charismatic, emotional, prone to strong feelings and decisive deeds, reckless, persistent (or even persistent), vindictive, vengeful. If they are with you – you are behind a stone wall, if you are not appropriate against you.

Often choleraiks and sanguine are confused due to the similarity of emotional reactions. The difference is in the depths of the feelings: the sanguine boils easily and cools, and the chlerik slowly boils inside, explodes and then leaves for a long time.

The secrets of reassuring choleric

Since the chlerik slowly switches from emotion to emotion, then his mood changes also not fast. If he is angry or offended, do not expect that he will quickly come into a good mood, forgive you and put it in an arms, as the sanguine does – he needs time to cool down, grumble.

Tell me an angry cholera: “I’m sorry that it happened. You are right, I want to discuss this with you a little later " – and leave him alone. Do not wait for him to take your apologies immediately. Perhaps he will even blame you. He needs time to calm down. After 10-30 minutes he will be able to calmly discuss the situation.

The first mistake – reproach the cholera that he does not accept an apology immediately: “Well, I apologized! That you continue?!»Remember, the cholera cannot quickly switch. He is like a steam locomotive: he needs time to stop.

The second gross error – Do not apologize at all, but wait for him to cool himself. An angry and rejected chlerik will wind himself even more, and it will be worse.

The algorithm for reassuring the chorer: apologized, left him alone, waited, made peace. Do not find out with the choleric who is right and who is to blame while he is on emotions. At this moment, he is simply not capable of sober judgments. Let him calm down – then he will be able to talk normally with you and admit if he was wrong.

3.Phlegmatic person

Emotional reactions – fast and internal. His emotions are hidden inside, but this does not mean that they are not! In the soul, phlegmatic can boil, worry, love … But outside it will not show it – that is his temperament. From phlegmatic, you should not wait for passions, serenads and knightly exploits (however, he is still capable of exploits, but without pomp, theatricality).

Such a person may seem slow, sometimes gloomy, and sometimes serene. A phlegmatic man is slowly caring and waiting in the wings, rarely taking the initiative on himself. But with him you will be "like behind a stone wall". It is wrong to think that phlegmatic is more reliable than a cholera or sanguine, it is just slower in decisions, in movements, in the expression of feelings, so the impression of thoroughness, solidity, authority and even wisdom is created. With phlegmatic, “quiet family happiness” is possible, but it can be very boring with it.

Sanguine and choleraiks admire the external endurance and calmness of phlegmatic. It seems to them that in front of them Stirlitz, who holds his thoughts and emotions under control. But phlegmatic people themselves envy emotionality and creative impulses of choleraiks and sanguine, their lives "to the fullest".

4.Melancholic

His emotions are inside and switch slowly. Closed, easily vulnerable, subtly feeling, sluggishly reacting externally, melancholic is inclined to “stick” in negative emotions for a long time. Melancholys are often very creative, among bright representatives – Tchaikovsky, Gogol, Yesenin, Gumilev. And at the same time – gravitating to self -digging and even self -destruction (donkey IA).

In a familiar, calm atmosphere, the melancholic feels at ease and becomes a good listener, a pleasant interlocutor, a creative person, a faithful friend. The problem is that often he is “outside” of his plate, and then the interlocutors get complaints, groans, reproaches, resentment.
